Ribbit!
Ribbit is one of our two happy mascots! Ribbit was made later on in the founding of Silverlake City. Ribbit is well known to the residents off the town due to their recent and frequent community service! If you ever see this friendly mascot feel free to give them a hug or a high-five to make their day!
My Story
Their design is thought to be originally inspired by a group of young teens who frequented the official offices here in Silverlake City talking to us about how they had repeatedly seen the mascot wandering the city streets at night when no one was around. Because of these inspiring stories and drawings we adopted Ribbit as the wonderful companion to Croak! Ribbit looks seem to be inspired by a poison dart frog with their bright colors and radiant palette. We assume this is because the Silverlake City hosts a small event called the "Backlight night". These are nights on a full moon when after the normal hours, normal lights go off and black lights come on, revealing glowing markings on the animated mascot and glowing decorations on the walls of all the buildings. The animated mascot never fails to attend this event and always interacts with guests and other mascots! When Ribbit isn't not dancing in the Blacklight festival they can be seen keeping an eye on the people swimming at the lake at night, cleaning up the streets or even helping to babysit lost children! They are truly the icons of love and community service!
